Blackheads are a form of skin disorder that is created by the skin’s excess oil, which blocks pores and forms a black crust. The majority of people with oily skin seem to get more blackheads than others. Unfortunately this means teenagers, as they come into puberty and their hormones are making changes to their bodies it also includes their skin. The T zone on your face is the most likely spot for getting blackheads. If they are not removed they can cause an infection under the skin resulting in numerous pimples forming.
To get rid of your blackheads naturally there are a number of things you can do in order to keep your skin clear of acne. One of the age old remedies used to be squeezing and pinching your skin to remove them. Special care must be used when removing blackheads especial from your face. Squeezing and pinching could actually do more damage to your skin or increase the number of breakouts.
Washing your face with a gentle exfoliate and warm water can loosen the blackheads in the pores and always put on a moisturizer. Do not wash your face more than 2 – 3 times a day as this could have the reverse effect and leave your face dry and scaly. This may even cause red blotches to appear on your skin or irritate by making your skin itchy.
Avoid using make up if at all possible. Make up gets caught in the pores and blocks the excess oil from the skin from getting out. The oil banks up behind and a black crust forms. If you must only wear water based cosmetics and always remove your make up before going to bed.
By drinking water, it not only cleans your skin it can also flush out any impurities within your body. Also eat a healthy diet and it will show inside and out.
The use of steam can also soften pores to allow for easy removal of blackheads. You can either stand in a bathroom with the hot water running for a few minutes or use a humidifiyer as they work much the same way. Wait a couple of minutes then with a mild cleaser and a damp make up remover pad wipe over the affected areas. You may give the skin a light squeeze just to pop the blackhead but do so with care as you can quite easily break of pinch the capillaries in your skin.
Stay away from any harsh liquids or creams as they could irritate your skin and remove the body’s natural oil. Avoid using as they are quite harsh on your skin leaving it dry and irritated or you could tear parts of your skin. If you are using a skin cleansing system make sure it has a PH balance similar to your skins level.
These remedies are quite natural and will help reduce blackheads on your skin. They are great home based ideas that are kind to your purse.
